It’s Fun Erin! I did mess with them a bit. I can email you the specifics, if you’d like. The puddle .. I almost always take pictures in the aperture (A) setting with the aperture wide open. So when I took the picture of the puddle (I’m assuming you mean the one where the water is splashing up??), I just crouched down there, focused on the area where the water would be once Eli jumped, and then took the picture as soon as he jumped. Not sure if that’s what you were looking for.
Certainly not a terrible mother. A wonderful mother who probably has cleaner kids than I do. Ha. They washed up pretty well, though .. It was a nice enough day and we live in an area where they were all able to strip down on the porch and run inside for a bath.
Exact same, girl! I have an old version of photoshop too and I’m like derp derp.. My brother will be here in a couple weeks to recover from his shoulder surgery at home where my mom can take care of him, and he’s bring me Cs4 or some-such? and is going to teach me. Apparently. I use it at work for very very basic things but when it comes to working in layers i’m like “……um………” It makes me feel dumb! I can usually figure out programs like that on my own but with photoshop you need a foundational knowledge, I think. Because just clicking on random things doesn’t do much.
Your edits looks photoshoppy, if that helps!! I use picasa and although I like it, kinda, it seems to undermine the quality of my photos once I save them, post editing. Almost like this layer of blur is put over them or something…? idk.
those pictures are amazing! Did you mess with the color or is that real? And what settings did you use to get the puddle????? So pretty.

Oh my word. So cute but I just hyperventilated when I saw the mud all over your kiddos. Does that make me a terrible mother? I’m so OCD.
